Our first Riverfest with our little Tiz!

Grandpa and I got to take you down to Riverfest on Thursday night all by ourselves. You had stayed at our house for two nights all by yourself and we were having so much fun together. Here we are on the teacups! After the teacups you played the ducky game where you got to take three ducks out of the water and choose a prize. You chose a little stuffed fish and gun that shoots darts.
We bought you Blue Moon ice cream. I don't think you cared so much for the Blue Moon, but Gigi finished it for you. You are much more of a pink ice cream girl.
Gigi finishing that Blue Moon cone while you and Mimi listen to the music.
You showed Mimi how to dance to the music.
Here you are doing some of your Ethiopian moves to the music. You were just too cute and so many people stopped to watch you and then would tell us, "She is just beautiful." Of course, we were very proud grandparents and had to agree!
It was so much fun to spend time with you at Riverfest and we hope you will come to Watertown and spend this weekend with us every year until you are all grown up!

A Trip to the Milwaukee Zoo with me and Grandpa

On Wed. August 5, 2009 Grandpa and I got to take you all the way to the Milwaukee Zoo by ourselves. It was an awesome day. We have many good memories of our day and we hope you do, too. Here we are just getting to the Zoo. This is the only time you actually sat in the stroller, otherwise you walked. We rode the Merry go round first. You chose a beautiful horse but then changed to a bear so that Grandpa and I could both stand by you. You always enjoy a merry go round ride.
After the merry go round we rode the train. We always liked the train and so did your mama and Auntie Alissa. You liked it, too.
After the rides, we finally saw some animals. We started with the birds. Your Auntie Alissa never cared for the birds, but you enjoyed watching them. Then we headed over to Monkey Island. Here you are blowing a kiss to those monkeys.
This is what all little kids like to do at the zoo. Your mama and Alissa did this, too. There is just something so fun about hanging on the fences! We had a yummy lunch even though a peacock wanted to eat it! Here you are taking care of Grandpa by wiping his moustache for him. Then it was on to the snakes, you know how Grandma loves those snakes! Just look at my scared looking face! You were very brave and really liked the big fish and turtles, too.
Here is a bear laying in a hammock. We all thought this was very funny! This elephant mixed up water and dirt and then used his trunk to blow it all over himself. It was pretty funny! You enjoyed a pink ice cream cone at the Family Farm. You are getting so good at eating ice cream cones. You loved the playground at the zoo, too. Everything was just the right size for you to do all the activities. You picked out his big sucker as a souvenior and you sure did enjoy it until...
You fell asleep. I think we wore you out! We were tired out, too.We ate supper with Alissa and Nathan at their apartment. It was a fun way to end this wonderful day. Here you are having fun in Cheddah's hat!

Imagination Station Park in Oconomowoc

Grandpa and I took you to this new park that I had heard about which was in Oconomowoc. It is called Imagination Station and it is a cool fun place. You had a ball there.
Here are you and Grandpa listening to some other children play the drums in the band shell. Below you are playing the turtle drum.

You had fun balancing on this wobbly board.
You enjoyed the slides.
And you could not get enough of the sand. Notice that your pants were a bit too big for you.
Twirling around on this hanging bar.
Relaxing on the bouncing mat.
This was one of your favorite areas. You would jump frm lilly pad to lilly pad while we held your hands.
After playing at the park, we took you to Rocky Roccoco's for pizza. You were such a good girl. we all had such fun. That night we got to have you overnight while your mama and papa went home to plant some flowers. We took you home to Oshkosh or Oshconsin as you call it, on Sunday in time for church. We loved having you overnight!
