Your first 4th of July in America!

All ready to go down to the parade.
You sat on my lap for almost the whole parade. Here you are eating some of your candy!
You and Gigi waiting for the parade to start.
Here we are watching the parade. You loved the parade and everyone commented on how very cute you were! You got lots of candy from all the people in the parade.
YOur Mama and Aunt Alissa at the parade.
Waiting for the next unit to come. You especially enjoyed the camels!
Having fun at the parade! This is the new outfit that I bought for you just for the 4th of July.
I am proud to be an American!
Four generations of Great American women, Gigi, Grandma, Mama, and you. We were performing "God Bless the U.S.A." in honor of America's birthday!
On the phone with Papa who was in Vienna. You dressed yourself up in this cute hat before making the phone call.
Uncle Cheddah decided to cool off in your little pool with you.
After the parade, you and Uncle Cheddah went swimming in your little pool. You both had so much fun!

  1. This was your late Great-Grandpa Ken's favorite holiday. He would have been pleased with your watching the entire parade as I was. I am happy to have spent your first American Independence Day with you. I, too, am proud to be an American as the song says.
